Busy place for Sunday breakfast! We were seated quickly and served efficiently. Food was exactly what we ordered with no problems, however the homefries could have been hotter. Our server advised us that our plates were really hot, so my first reaction was that our plates were sitting under a heat lamp, maybe?All in all, good value for your money.The washroom was clean but the heat dryer was temperamental.

Loved my meal. Friendly Waitress and overall excellent Customer Care and Customer Services. The atmosphere felt like home and I did have a delicious Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries. Delicious. My Mom enjoyed her meal, as well. We plan to return to The Thruway Restaurant for all the above reasons. Food was delicious and at a very reasonable price point.

Big portions for a very good price. Healthier options that will be served quickly. Looks to a place that has a dedicated following of people who have gone here for years. If passing through perth on highway 7, check it out. It isn't fine dining but better than your average roadside diner.

Came in hungry, the chicken parmigiana looked like it does in the pictures and tasted perfect. The sauce on the chicken and then the cheese melted on top was properly cooked. The chicken was cooked to perfection. No rubber chicken. The pasta was what you'd expect from pasta - the way it was supposed to taste. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Delicious breakfast! The potatoes make or break a breakfast and these potatoes definitely make! The servers are always so nice and attentive too!

It's a good place to stop for a good meal, I stopped in there for breakfast one Sunday morning with a group of people, the service and our food was good and it came out all about the same time. Thruway was pretty busy. They seem like they're always busy because the staff handled the situation like champs.

The food was delicious, steak was cooked perfectly, well seasoned and delightful. The staff was pleasant and seated us as quickly as they possibly could. It was very busy and people seemed pleased with their meals. Small issue; our food took almost 45 minutes to get to our table and there was no compensation offered.

The staff is friendly and polite and the food isn't bad (but nothing to write home about). The women's washroom was unpleasant, with one toilet that wouldn't flush, another whose seat wobbled, and open & exposed toiletry garbages.

It s called the thruway..... KEEP DRIVING!!! ..who charges $1.50 forTomato on your sandwich... Lemon For your Corona ...(waitress said she knew it took a lime ???) and gives you a glass of red wine when you asked for Chardonnay .Food ok ..Carleton Place deserves better!

Good food - got fish n chips, the fish slightly over cooked, table needed to be prepared properly instead of tossing cutlery on the table.

This place offers a great experience for both travellers and local clients. Often can find teams dining after local tournaments. And the regular customers in the booths sharing a laugh or two with the friendly staff. Meals are both filling and very tasty to eat. Wide arrangement of desserts to finish of a great night! Open late too...(open until 10pm). Breakfast is as popular as the evening dinner specials... Quick to the table and served with a smile... I highly recommend it for a nice night out. Enjoy your time...

I'm allergic to egg white and they REFUSED to separate the egg and just cook the yolk. Wow that must be very very hard to do for a cook, even though I do it at home very easily. When places do not accommodate because of allergies it's pretty sad and do not deserve customers

First time here for dinner. Had heard many good things about it. There was a group of us and we all enjoyed the experience. Variety of items on the menu (classic we serve everything menu). Would love to try different dishes from their menu. Definitely recommend it, specially if you are traveling on hwy 7.

Ordered New York steak dinners, first off there was hair in our salad. Second everything seems microwaved.. If you're paying the same price as The Keg you would think the food should be at least close to as good. If you want a nice charcoal rubber steak this is the place to go... They "Thruway" their pride.

Ok greasy spoon diner food. Coffee is bland. Perfect to take your grandparents to but foodies go to Good Food cafe or Black Tartan for brunch.... IMHO...

We go to this restaurant regularly and we love it. It's down-to-earth, homey, with tasty, generous helpings of food and friendly staff. Paul has been our server the last half-dozen times we've been there and again, he's pleasant, efficient and always has a smile for everyone. This place is so friendly even the customers talk to one another.

I took a road trip out to Carleton Place while there I stopped by this restaurant. I had a turkey club sandwich and for those who want to know yes it real turkey not pressed, creamy coleslaw and a large amount of fries. I then treated myself to a chocolate sundae. They have a vast array of items to choose from, they have both booths and tables and their staff were welcoming and friendly.

Such a great team breakfast place! Food fresh and tasty.

Steak was excellent

We came around noon. Our booth had food and salt covering the floor. The server had asked us if we would like a drink, ordered them only for her to walk away as we were also aware of what we were were ordering for food.She then proceeded to take the peoples order next to us, almost as if she was swiping the table from her co-servers. Giant plate for the small portion thrown on it. Hopefully better next time. Cheers

Great Breakfast, just an FYI your breakfast does not come with coffee or tea that is separate. Good price, nice place to eat, service was good. I would recommend it.

The food came out super fast, it came within 10 minutes of ordering it.
